• The Great Australian Outback • Room 5 participated in a variety of experiences centered around our unique Australian Outback. They engaged in multiple mathematical activities using our Montessori Maths materials, along with arts and crafts, sensory trough explorations, and much more.

• Sun protection doesn’t need to be complicate

• Sun protection doesn’t need to be complicated, it just needs to be consistent. Keep it simple but do it forever! • ✨ Sun safety is very important here at ToBeMe. After checking the UV index, the children are encouraged to apply their own sunscreen and collect their hats before heading outside, but we never forget to wait 20 minutes! The children have so much fun playing in our outdoor area where they can explore, run, check on the growth of our produce and even say hi to the chickens! Outdoor play helps the children develop creativity, symbolic play and intellectual play while providing opportunities for positive sun safety behaviour and protection. Don’t forget to slip, slop, slap, seek and slide! 🧴☀️✨ #sun #protection #outdoor #childcare #educator

• A healthy outside starts from the inside • ✨ Our room 3 children have been busy learning about healthy foods and how to properly nourish our bodies! The children had the opportunity to draw and paint their favourite foods on a page. The children were encouraged to talk about the different foods and begin to have an understanding of healthy and sometimes foods. We loved seeing all the fruits and vegetables that ended up in the children’s drawings 🍇 🍉 🌽 🥒 🤍✨ #drawing #healthyfood #eating #childcare #educator
